Presidential Billiards
Presidential Billiards is one of the few import companies we carry. Of course they aren't made in China. The woodwork is carved in Zimbabwe and then parts are assembled here in the USA at their Texas headquarters.
This company specializes in tables built of Solid Rhodesian Teak and other African hardwoods. They are beautiful pieces of functional furniture. The designs are as unique as the woods they use. Ultra contemporary designs or old world finishes. Unusual or popular styles are available.
A word about Rhodesian Teak. This beautiful wood is unbelievably hard. For families concerned about the abuse a table might take from roudy kids this wood will take severe treatment and still look great. The trees are also harvested in a responsible manner. Only trees of certain sizes are taken and the tree will recospice (it regrows from the existing stump). Zimbabwe is also a unique country in that they don't allow unfinished wood products to leave the country. This helps the local economies greatly.
